In this silent film, Larita is put on trial for misconduct with another man who is not her drunken lout of a husband. She is found guilty, and escapes to 'the tolerant shores of the Mediterranean.'

While Larita 'can hide her scarred heart, she cannot disguise her magnetic appeal, and falls upon unwelcome attentions.'

This is John. John doesn't want to know anything about Larita. He only knows that he loves her. He promptly proposes, and says that they will go back to 'his people-they will love you!'

His people exclaim that Lorita should be 'dark and foreign looking'. (which she is not.)

His people hate her. "John-who is this woman you have pitchforked into the family!"

These people aren't like humans! They are too frail and ghost faced, and black wide-eyed, and lipped. I have trouble believeing that we are even the same breed, But they've swept me up.

She just ended the whole emo affair, with a second divorce and facing the paparazzi head on with: "Shoot. There is nothing left to kill."

I have been very invested in television programs I guess, the last few.

Can you further address the subject of the decanter?
