I can't find any conclusive evidence that J.M. Barrie was a pedophile. My instincts, and patterns that i've observed in the rearings of predators of all shades point to yes. J.M. Barrie was a pedophile.
But I say to myself: what is the purpose? No justice needs to be served at this point. Can't I just remember him the way 'Finding Neverland' wants me to remember him? Is there any harm in that? I don't know. But there is something to be said for conscientious ignorance if the truth won't accomplish anything but make a person feel hopeless.
J.M. Barrie, you may be a pedophile, but that has nothing to do with me and my enchantment.
