It's strange to watch as actresses with failing careers, get exponentially naked. Like they're arming themselves with the dearest, weakest weapon left in their arsenal.
"Hey, now do you like me...?"
And the unfortunate thing is that, after she's laid out all her paws, the employment of this strategy only seems to open her up to a bunch of online haters and haggard masturbators.
But of course, there is the attention.

I selected this Nashville clip for a scene towards the end in which this character is attempting to sing legimately in a bar, and is demeaned and cajoled into stripping. Topless, vulnerable, and awkward, she weeps and flees. It's brutal, and really good.

But of course there are all sorts of women. Some find it legitamizing...but I have to say, I have a hard time swallowing that whole. In theory, empowerment by nudity makes sense. But in practice, it's wrought with contradictions.

Touching on an actual topic, nothing definitive said.
