September 21, 2008 - 11:56 We sat at the bottom of a stairwell facing each other. We're both laughing as I'd just crowned it's head with a shower of talcum powder. I said: "You are such a good idea." I sang it an improvised song, which I remember being about the color white, and strife. Sarah came over, and I introduced my child to her as Strawberry Cake (?), though I remember addressing her as Ramona earlier. The little thing rarely stopped laughing. And then, unbelievably, we all went on a carriage ride. My general attitude towards this (my) baby was one of a tiny friend who was totally up for ANYTHING.
